PACIFIC ISLANDS REGIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE TOOL
Regional Reference for Developing/Reviewing Internal/External NEPA Documents
NOTE: Internet Links with this symbol behind them will take you to a website not owned by the US government.
Purpose: This tool will provide information and contacts for identifying potential affected environmental resources related to a specific proposed Federal action. This tool will assist NOAA staff with collecting information necessary for scoping and developing NEPA documents as well as reviewing other agency NEPA documents.
Intended Audience: All NOAA environmental staff that are responsible for NEPA compliance and coordination may find this tool helpful in their work.
Pacific Islands Regional Tool covers the state of Hawaii (HI) and the US affiliated Pacific Islands (including Guam (GU); Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI); Palau; Federated States of Micronesia (FSM); Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI); American Samoa (AS); and Wake Island, Jarvis Island, Howland Island, Baker Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, and Palmyra Atoll (collectively known as the Pacific Remote Island Areas) .
